Raise Your Voice for Central American Refugees

Looking for the Angels

Looking for the Angels is a music video that sheds light on refugees fleeing the dangers of Central America’s Northern Triangle countries—El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala—through the story of a teenage boy from Honduras who is forced to flee the country’s brutal violence. He promises his grandmother that he will return for her once he is settled in the US, but when she loses touch with him, she fears the worst. Written by immigration lawyer Susan Cohen, the video features students and alumni from the Berklee College of Music in Boston, including many  from Central and Latin American countries that have been impacted by violence.

If you are concerned about protecting the rights of migrants fleeing from the violence in Central America and refugees seeking safety in the U.S., please consider donating to one of the following U.S. immigrants’ rights organizations:

Beyond the Borders

Created during the height of the Syrian Refugee Crisis in 2018, Beyond the Borders is a music video about an American refugee camp volunteer who promises to bear witness to the plight, dignity and courage of a Syrian family fleeing the country.
